TAYLOR: Forever AGE 14

My name is Taylor Wright. I am 13 years old and in grade 8 at Holy Spirit School. I am the youngest of 5 in my family. Although I am the youngest of 5 kids in my family, I enjoy being a big sister to all of the foster kids that come into our home. I like eating quesadilla, pitas and chicken nuggets. A good hamburger is great as well. I enjoy drawing, doing my hair and make-up. I don't really enjoy math.
I got diagnosed on January 31, 2020 with Rhabdomyosarcoma or RMS. It's a rare childhood soft tissue cancer. my treatment is 43 weeks long.
This is the year I will be stronger, braver, kinder and unstoppable. This year I will be FIERCE.
UPDATE:
On February 14, 2021 , our beloved Taylor passed away in her sleep at home with her parents by her side. In a world searching for heroes, Taylor will always be our true hero. Taylor fought, every day for a year, with a fierceness and such bravery that was so inspiring. We know that Taylor is in a much better place now with no more pain and suffering, looking down on us. Taylor's wings were ready to fly but our hearts were not. Taylor's beauty in and out was amazing. She will greatly be missed by all of her family, friends and all who had the pleasure of meeting her. Taylor and our family are so grateful to everyone near and far who have supported us through this time.
