On May 14 of 2019 I was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia) and for about 7 months straight I was in the hospital getting 5 rounds of chemo, A LOT of blood transfusions, I got a lung infection that I just recently got over and having my 17 birthday in hospital . While in the hospital I met a lot of friends, sadly some have passed away. With the whole experience of being in the hospital and having cancer I surprisingly took it way better than any of my family or friends. They say I made them stronger with my attitude towards it. After all that, I’m home going to school and cancer free and just started going to after care.
