Teams will be ranked in order of Points Accumulated.  Prizes will be awarded accordingly based on Value.  ie: 1st prize will be awarded to the team with the most points, 2nd Prize will go to the team with the second highest number of points.. etc.


EVERY  TEAM REGARDLESS OF NUMBER OF POINTS WILL RECEIVE A PARTICIPATION PRIZE.

SPONSORSHIP is welcome and encouraged!  Teams can collect sponsorship money from friends, family and coworkers in support of Go Gold Cambridge.  Each dollar collected will earn 1pt towards your total tally at the end of the games.  
Sponsorship money may be collected throughout the duration of the games but must be handed in via e-transfer by October 22nd LATEST.

REDISCOVER CAMBRIDGE

CAMBRIDGE IS GOLD

WEBSITE SCAVENGER HUNT

We will be posting a series of photos taken around town.  Competitors will need to identify where each photo was taken.  They will be spread out over the burrows of Cambridge, including all parts of Galt, Preston, Hespeler and Blair.  The photos will range in difficulty and point value… the more difficult, the more points available to earn.
 

We are challenging our competitors to find letters around town to spell Go Gold Cambridge! You may NOT use the same sign or structure twice. Completion of the challenge with photos submitted by the deadline will earn your team 100 points.10 bonus points for each letter that is Gold or Yellow in colour.

 

Links to the websites of local businesses will be posted on gogoldcambridge.ca. We will compile a list of questions that can only be answered by scouring the website of our participating businesses. The questions will NOT be easy! Each correct answer will gain your team additional points.
 

BONUS POINTS can be earned by spending money and supporting these amazing businesses.10 points for every dollar spent. Our participating businesses will have a list of all our team’s names and tally the dollar value of each of their purchases. Want to really earn some more points? Have friends and family shop under your team name!

  1. Each team must have ONE team captain over the age off 19 who will accept a prize if won.  ID WILL BE REQUIRED TO CLAIM A PRIZE. 
     

  2. All games will run simultaneously (from 12pm on October 3rd, 2021 to 5pm on October 22nd, 2021) giving each team as much time as possible to complete their challenges. Late submissions will NOT be accepted. 
     

  3. Teams will be ranked in order of Points Accumulated.  Prizes will be awarded accordingly based on Value.  IE: 1st prize will be awarded to the team with the most points.  EVERY PARTICIPATING TEAM REGARDLESS OF NUMBER OF POINTS WILL RECEIVE A CONSOLATION PRIZE.

  4. A Donation in the amount of $40 made to Go Gold Cambridge as well as completion of the sign up form will gain your team entrance into the Golden Games.  Donations can be made via E-transfer to gogoldcambridge@gmail.com. (No Password necessary).  PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO INCLUDE YOUR TEAM NAME IN THE MESSAGE PORTION OF THE E-TRANSFER.
